The levels
How do you know where to start?
We have beginner classes for each apparatus, Poledance, Aerial Hoop, Aerial Silks/Hammock. In each type of sport, we have a list of tricks. To proceed to the next level, you need to be able to perform a certain amount of tricks off of the list.
Why do we do it this way you ask?
Well, some people are more strong and others are more flexible, which should not stop them from being able to go to the next level! We can build on both in any level. Of course you are always allowed to join a class below the level you have passed, if you feel like you are missing a specific skill and want to work on it. Below you will see the list for each apparatus:
Poledance
Poledance is sport where you use a pole to show flexibility and strength.
Beginner: 1
Where you don’t need to be able to do anything just yet.
We mostly focus on getting the basic moves and techniques.
High Beginner: 2
We recommend you to be able to do 7 tricks off the list. Having a straddle / invert is nice, but not a necessity.
We do more inverted (up-side-down) moves than on level 1.
Intermediate: 3
You should to be able to do 15 tricks off the list (on both sides). All * tricks must feel comfortable.
These include the spins, inverts, and polesit.
High intermediate: 4
You should to be able to do around 40 tricks off the list.
Advanced : 5
You should to be able to do around 55 tricks off the list.
