It can be so overwhelming to start a new thing and believe me so many people have questions!
Below are some of the most common ones but always feel free to ask if you have any others!
Do I need to be strong or flexible to start?
Absolutely not! most of us started without a lot of strength or flexibility! The best way to put it as the internet says :
"Saying you're not flexible or stong enough for Aerial sports is like saying you're too dirty to take a bath "
What do I need to get started?
Depending on what you want to do! For most classes you just need sports clothing.
For Poledance shorts and a sportsbra is adviced
For Hammock, Silks and Hoop we advice full body coverage.
For Heels/Dance we advice the right kind of shoes and maybe some kneepads.
But in every class you can ask what is best!
Why is there only 18+
It is because however mature some people might be. There are not a lot of places where adults can be adults except for a bar. I believe there should be more places where adults can also be themselves and don't have to worry about how "the children" see them.
Why is there a price differance?
Because as a fellow aerialist there are many things where I believe quality is more important than costs.
Our classes are on the smaller side so our teachers will be able to help our kittens grow more safely and give each the time they deserve.
Why is almost everything in english here?
The world is changing and lucky for us Danish people are very progressive! The world is getting more and more international. We want to be inclusive here and that includes the language.
We do also speak danish, dutch and more in the studio!
Why did you start this space?
Well, I have been obsessed with the sport for quite some time and have been wanting to start my own for a long time. I always wanted to have my own company and this was the perfect opportunity <3
As the world has changed over the last many years, capitalism and inequality have taken over and I will do my best to fight against these. This is why everyone will get a wage within the same range depending on how long people have been at the studio.
And of course, all genders and races are allowed! The important thing is that we all have a passion for the aerial arts and make sure we respect each other's boundaries!
